All apartments are equipped with high-quality technology to ensure a pleasant indoor climate.

Ventilation

The system runs automatically to ensure a constant supply of fresh air. No adjustments are necessary, but you can customize the settings:
‍
• Adjust ventilation intensity - use touch & slide to increase or decrease airflow as needed
‍• Heat recovery - standard operation; fans change direction every 70 seconds to recover heat. Ideal for winter or daytime in summer.
‍• Ventilation - fans rotate in one direction for rapid air exchange. Useful after cooking or to remove odors.
‍• Pause - pause for up to eight hours, e.g., for sleeping. Simply tap to activate.
‍• Boost - 15 minutes of high-performance ventilation at the touch of a button. For quick airing out.

Portable air conditioner

Each apartment is equipped with a portable air conditioner to cool the room as needed. Simply switch it on, and the unit will handle the rest automatically.

• Cooling - set the desired temperature, and the unit will maintain it
• Dehumidify - reduces humidity, ideal for muggy days
• Fan - circulates the air without cooling, for a light, fresh breeze
• Timer - pre-program start and stop times, e.g., so the room is already cool when you return home
• Exhaust hose - permanently connected to the wall outlet; warm air is automatically vented outside. Please do not remove the connection.

• Ideal for suitcases, sports equipment, or bulky items

How do I use the basement storage unit?

Closing:
‍• Choose and remember any 4-digit PIN - we recommend your personal comfort PIN
• Press the confirmation button
• Lock the door with the knob while the lock is flashing green

‍Opening:
• Enter your chosen PIN
• Press the confirmation button
• Open the door with the knob while the lock is flashing green

Laptop safe

The apartment safe provides space for a laptop, passport, and other valuables, secured by your personal PIN code.
‍
Setting the code:
‍• The door must be open and the display blank
• Enter your individual code (3-6 digits)
• Press "#" while holding the door shut
• The display will show "CLOSED" - the safe is now secured

Opening the safe:
• Enter your personal code
• The display will show "OPENED" - the door will open automatically

Closing the safe:
‍• When "OPENED" is displayed, press "#"
• If the display is blank, enter your code

Error messages:
• "ERROR" - door not closed properly, please try again
• "E-CODE" - incorrect code entered
• Forgot your code - please contact the 21rooms team
‍
‍Important for check-out:
‍Please ensure the safe is left open and all personal belongings have been removed.

How does the check-in work?

Check-in is from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM - online, in just two minutes. Afterward, you will receive your PIN code via email. Open the entrance, open your room, and you're all set.

Is there a reception?

21rooms is a fully automated property - by design. No reception, no opening hours, no waiting. You can come and go as you please. If you have any questions, you can reach us at any time via email or our contact form.

Where can I park?

We do not have our own parking spaces, but there are alternatives nearby. The indoor pool parking lot or the Stadttheater underground garage are both within walking distance. Parking in the surrounding area is free after 6:00 PM. You can find more details in our blog: Parking on Donaustraße and the surrounding area

What is the difference between the room categories?

All rooms feature designer furniture and a fully equipped kitchen. The difference lies in size and layout: single rooms for 1 person, studios for 2+ people (25-43 sqm) for more space, suites (30 sqm) with separate living and sleeping areas, and apartments (80-120 sqm) for up to 6 people.

Is the kitchen fully equipped?

Yes - induction cooktop, oven, microwave, refrigerator, and dishes, all from Bosch. Almost all apartments also include a dishwasher.
