The Audi Campus – what you need to know

Important to note: Audi has two locations in Ingolstadt. The main plant, which houses the corporate headquarters and development, is located in the north of the city, while the Audi Campus with its development and technology units is in the south, near the MediaMarkt. Clarify with your contact which location you will be working at – both are a few kilometers from the city center, but in opposite directions.

Each site is large – depending on where your office or workshop is located, it can take another 10–15 minutes to get around within the site. Ask your contact exactly where you need to go before you head out on your first day without a plan.

Visitor parking is available at the main entrance. Bicycles can be secured in guarded parking areas directly at the entrance.

From the center to the campus – your options

By bicycle: The most direct and often fastest option. From Ingolstadt city center, it takes about 20 minutes to reach both the main plant in the north and the Audi Campus in the south via well-maintained bike paths that are largely separated from car traffic – the central location of the Old Town really pays off here. By car: Possible, but not always pleasant. During peak hours – mornings between 7:00 and 8:30 AM, and evenings between 4:30 and 6:00 PM – traffic on the access roads to the plant is noticeably congested.
